Heart Start of Central Ohio, Inc., was founded in 1987 as a Basic Life Support Training Center for the American Heart Association (AHA). Since that time, Heart Start has expanded to become a cross training center, also offering courses for the American Red Cross (ARC) and the American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI). Since its inception, Heart Start has remained committed to providing quality courses in CPR, First Aid, and various other community safety and awareness programs. Heart Start trains over 14,000 students annually, ensuring healthcare providers and lay rescuers both are well equipped with the skills to respond appropriately in an emergent situation. We can offer you, your business, or your group a comprehensive training program with courses which meet all local, state, and federal requirements, and which are recognized by all state agencies and licensing boards.
Basic Life Support Classes are offered each Saturday at our training center in Gahanna, Ohio. Courses are offered for lay rescuers and healthcare providers.
